Chuckie Perez becomes pastor of Californian church.

ONE OF THE pioneering figures in Latin R&B music, Chuckie Perez has taken up the pastorship of a church. West Coast Community Church is based in Bloomington, San Bernadino and prides itself on being a multi-cultural ministry. Said Perez, "From Samoan, African American, Latino, Caucasian and Asian, our goal is to reflect what Heaven will look like." Perez will continue to perform concert dates throughout the country, but the church will be his top priority.
