U2's Bono featured in Q magazine look at artists' clothing lines

AN ARTICLE in the May issue of Q magazine looks at the artist promoted clothing brands of six pop stars including Liam Gallagher, Madonna and Bono. Fashion guru John Varvatos commented on Bono's Edun clothing line: "Co-founded in 2005 by the U2 singer and his wife Ali, Edun - nude backwards - has the altruistic goal of promoting trade with Africa by, for some reason, selling womenswear that looks like melting wallpaper in a 1970s kitchen. Cardigans from £405 and trousers from £470." CR
