Veteran diva Vanessa Bell Armstrong cuts new project 'Walking Miracle'
GOSPEL singer Vanessa
Bell Armstrong is to release her latest album 'Walking Miracle'
(EMI Gospel). Vanessa told Christian Retailing magazine, "I love the
contemporary, and I love the traditional. To me, the time-honoured
sound of gospel music is our medicine - it gives us hope, it
encourages, but the contemporary, up-tempo stuff is what lifts us up."
The new project features the lead single "So Good to Me", produced by
gospel artist Smokie Norful; "Till The Victory Is Won"; "Fall in
Love"; and the title track, produced by popular R&B collaborator
Rodney Jerkins. The track was inspired by Armstrong's son's struggle
with multiple sclerosis. "They were praying for my son one Sunday
night, and the song just came to me," she said. "He is a walking
miracle, and I know he's healed, and through faith and assurance I am
just waiting for the evidence of God's promise."The opinions expressed in this article are
