New radio promotion for unchurched

SINGER NICK Jones of techno rock team Breakspear went onto the streets of Bolton promoting the new Christian REACH FM Radio Station which has been on air, on a one month trial basis, since November 5th. The programme content of REACH FM is similar to Radio 2 though with interviews with Christians in the public eye and specialist music and chat programmes. Says Terry Hanford, chairman of the station's committee, "We don't expect to find fish in swimming pools and it is for this reason we are launching REACH FM to reach the huge percentage of people who never go to church."
