Good quality British white metal bands are pretty thin on the ground these days, so it's good to see this up and coming bunch from South Wales turning out a pretty sharp debut EP. Recorded at Newport's Victory Music Studio the four tracks included here show some talented songwriting abilities and top musicianship, notably from guitarist Mike 'Mr Wiggley' Spear, whose solid riffs and digit-lacerating lead work are the foundation for the compositions. The lyrics, written by vocalist Chris Edwards, are up front Christian stuff. But the band are still able to pull off a pub gig without being ridiculed. This is solid British metal in the Gethsemane Rose vein. As long as they don't change their name again (having been through Golgotha, Witness, Voice and Original Material to get to this stage!) they could be an item to look out for.
