Three acts from the Seattle hit factory BEC Recordings with yuletide offerings here. Among The Thirsty have a hauntingly wistful sound on "This Is Christmas" (a song also cut by the other two acts here) while David Dunn offers deft acoustic versions of "Angels We Have Heard On High" and "It Came Upon A Midnight Clear". But it's the opening cut "I Heard The Bells", a deftly tuneful number from 7eventh Time Down, which had me singing along with the "And the bells are ringing/Like a choir singing" hook. Yep, a Christmas radio winner.
