Dallas-based band Addison Road released this six-track EP in 2005. The songs are written within the band, three of which have lyrics penned by lead vocalist Jenny Simmons with the remaining numbers composed by lead guitarist Ryan Gregg. The best track by some way is the opener, "I Have Always Loved You", which speaks about the constant love of God. Elsewhere, there are songs of a more of personal nature and a focus on Jenny and her husband's relationship can be heard in a couple of the songs, particularly "Where Are You" which tells of what they have been through. Jenny's husband is fellow band member Ryan Simmons who plays guitar, piano and shares vocals. "Rejoice" and "Need You Now" have more of a worship feel. I can't wait to hear the band's new full album, 'Some Kind Of Spark'.
