Rivero and a group of musicians he describes as "dear friends" provide just over an hour of spontaneous instrumental music here, recorded over two nights spent in each other's company "going after God" at their Franklin, Tennessee-based church. There is no obvious lead amongst the cello, violin, flute, mandolin and keys (Rivero is on keys), with the ideas ebbing and flowing, developing and ultimately merging seamlessly to provide 11 tracks of non-stop music (incidentally, this is not the first time Rivero has gone for this format, having previously released 'Dancing River' to the same idea). Somewhat unusually, the sound of rainfall accompanies here from the middle of track eight, and indeed constitutes track 11 all on its own! This is worship and worship music off the beaten track; there are some strong musical ideas in here but equally there are periods of waiting when a sense of direction seems to be lacking - but then, maybe that is what it's all about given their purpose in getting together.
