Award winning gospelers Anointed pull another one out of the bag. And what have they come up with? A blaster of an album, to be precise. If you got on down to their last smash The Call' then pin your shell-likes back for the latest. Mega voices and whopping harmonies keep things pumping throughout. The talented trio have written a selection of songs themselves and show their maturity as singers/songwriters. "Take Me Back" vulnerably recounts the individual's struggle with God's plan for life. If you need some encouragement and life kicks you when you're down, the gospelly "Come Unto Me" reminds you that Jesus waits with open arms. If you tend to strut and groove around the bedroom, "Get Ready" will get those limbs limbered up and get you high on the funky fumes! The message of the title track is clear. Don't be under the influence of the world, but get 'Under The Influence' of God! A cool, summer breeze of a song, with a hint of spicy salsa, and a pulsing Latin undercurrent to drag you under! If you loved 'The Call' you will rush out and buy this. This album could seriously influence your music collection.
