This is the fourth album from the award winning gospel group and was recorded in May 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Glanarden, USA. The opener, following the album introduction, is the first single, "Blessings On Blessings", which declares "this is not a drill. . ." , a suitable introduction to an album full of energy, faith building lyrics, and in particular with the first few tracks, a beat that will get the feet moving. The track earned a Dove nomination in 2019. There is a stellar host of guests present, such as on the outstanding "He Always Wins" which features the gospel queen Erica Campbell and hip-hop artist 1K Phew. Other guest vocals include Jonathan McReynolds and Kelontae Gavin. Although the slick vocals continue without giving up (alongside some sizable overdubs), the pace does slow down with heartfelt ballads such as the beautiful "Our Prayer", which demonstrates how good the choir is. If your tastes veer towards where Kirk Franklin has taken gospel since his emergence, you'll be well up for '2econd Wind'.
