I feel guilty about reviewing this. Obviously As If... are a keen, hard working band seeking gigs and interest from record companies. They've put together a nice cassette package and with 10 songs included it's better value for money than many other self-produced efforts. There's some nice guitar work throughout the album and some inventive lyrics. Their last cassette received eight squares from someone who obviously appreciates their particular unique style of rock/indie/dance music. Personally, however, I was looking for more melody, stronger vocals and something to make me sit up and listen to the cassette again. Unfortunately, I found none of these. I do wish these guys well and I'm sure there's a market out there amongst students or in indie clubs for their music.
