Predominantly this is an axe guitar assault that should please most metal and progressive rock fans. However, this is also a suitably titled album as a variety of musical styles are covered ranging from hard synthesiser rock such as "Take A Drink", to luscious piano ballads ("Changes"), to the acoustic sensitivity of "Tragedy" and great drama in the orchestral introduction to "The Key". Indeed, one of the great pleasures in listening to this is that these four obviously very gifted musicians create enough scope and diversity of moods to impress most listeners. Lead vocalist Rich Secrist sings with such conviction that confidence and enthusiasm blasts from every track. Also the lyrics are stirring in their honesty and provide some humour in "Bobby Lou" to ensure none of this is too pompous or po-faced. Constantly, the mood is unashamedly triumphant and delivered with winning gusto. This band is giving 100 per cent and it is both infectious and inspiring.
