The opener "Known By You" starts well with an up tempo distorted guitar intro but it soon runs into a few issues that keep cropping up throughout the EP. The songs are reasonably well crafted with sensible lyrics and catchy melodies but unfortunately they are let down by the arrangements and production. The vocals are mixed too high for the instruments which results in them feeling isolated from the rest of the music while the multiple harmony guitar lines and vocal lines don't always gel together. The final track, recorded in a church, is the exception, with a much emptier arrangement including a violin and cello. Even the Keith Green classic "There Is A Redeemer" manages to grate a little. This Glasgow-based band clearly are one to watch but, in truth, this EP does not do them justice.
