B-Shoc brings a mix of R&B vocal flavours, dirty south breaks with a mix of spoken and sung rap. The opener, "My Hero Walks On Water", is an engaging and uplifting track with the emcee lifting up the Lord ("God is the truth, God is the way/God is the artist and I am the clay."). Sometimes when an artist has a very clear flow it can mean simplistic lyrics and a decidedly old school style. But not so with B-Shoc who manages to mix a slow and clear flow with profound and challenging lyrics, often with a hint of fun and positive vibes. There are some tracks that could get radio play ("Lord Give Me A Call") with B-Shoc refusing to compromise or back down from the message God's put in him. The rapper also brings it down and personal with "I Believe" charting B-Shoc's move from being a big-time act to an artist who raps for Jesus. Party, jump-up tracks include "Ready For Whatever" and the bouncing kick beats and vibe of "We Rock We Roll" while there is some bassy cruising music on "Christ Like Cruisin".
