Barry and Batya Segal have a high reputation as Messianic worship leaders, and as I like Messianic music, I looked forward to thisĀ album with relish. It starts with a sample from the United Nations sound archives, dating back to 1948 when the state of Israel was created, featuring the voice of the first Israeli President David Ben-Gurion. Following that, we get 13 tracks in authentic style, both in Hebrew and English. Actually, one or two of the songs are "Hebrew-ised" rather than being kosher Messianic, but Barry and Batya and their band make all the right noises, so it's hard to tell the difference. Stirring stuff, and guaranteed to get you shouting "Oi!".
