BeBe Winans' latest offering is another in a long line of excellent albums featuring this popular CCM star. With a huge budget BeBe brings in a bevy of high profile special guests including Luther Vandross, Eric Clapton, Eternal and Debbie Winans. The album demonstrates a variety of styles, ranging from up tempo tracks to soulful classics. It centres around the theme of love and is one you could quite easily sit in of an evening and listen to with a loved one. The comparisons between an earthly love and a spiritual love can be easily identified, especially in tracks such as "When You Love Someone" and "So In Love". The album ends with a compelling, contemporary revival version of the old Edwin Hawkins' warhorse "Oh Happy Day". BeBe's richly soulful voice is outstanding throughout while the arrangements here are fine contemporary R&B. If you like this kind of stuff, this production maestro does it superbly.
