A superlative group fronted by one of the most underrated vocalists in Christendom, Caroline Hansell, and an exceptionally gifted composer/guitarist/producer Don McRobbie. The lead song on this EP is a gem, the best I've heard from Mr McRobbie, a telling paen on the devalued word love ("Love is crumpled/Like the sheets on your bed/Discarded promises/The vows that you said") before the telling final image ("Love is bleeding/Innocence marred/Holding out/Hands that are scarred"). Caroline purrs over jazzily haunting keyboards and only its length (5 mins 30 sees) stops it getting much radio play. A couple of the other songs suffer from undermixed vocals and somewhat immature lyrics but "All In The Name" is all but perfect.
