I heard a rumour saying that Bloodgood was formed by Noah and his three sons whilst taking shelter in the Ark. After many hours of research I found this report to be unfounded. Bloodgood was put together by none other than Michael Bloodgood and his companion Les Carlsen. Furthermore, their first album, simply titled 'Bloodgood', was released in 1986 and not in 4000 BC as popular belief has it. What can be said about Bloodgood? They've done it all, even concerts involving pantomime. And now their crown of glory -the 'Best Of...' album. It had to come sooner or later. It's quite nicely packaged and if you want value for money how does sixteen songs grab you? There are tracks lifted from the aforementioned first album, plus cuts off 'Detonation', 'Rock In A Hard Place' and the more recent 'Out Of The Darkness'. All the classic songs are here including "The Messiah", "Top Of The Mountain" and good ol "Black Snake". My favourite's "What's Following The Grave". What's yours?
