Conceived and produced by gentle voiced Bobby Evans, this Newfoundland custom release has a simple charm to it that warms one to the faith building sentiments being expressed. Most of the songs' lyrics were penned by Edward L> House and extracted from his books entitled As It Came To Me and With A Ragged Coat Around Me. Rather than being wordy, the extractions work well as songs when married to Lee Vaughn's competent melodies. Each is performed in a light-weight country styling reminiscent of similar Irish country gospel productions. For good measure, two all time classics are also paraded; they are Hank Williams' "I Saw The Light" and "One Day A A Time" penned by Manjohn Wilkin and Kris Kristofferson.
