This tape is the soundtrack to "the hilarious video"... which I haven't seen. If the tape is anything to go by, the video might be pretty good. The theory is - kids love animals, and kids love music, so put the two together and you have "God's Wacky Animals"! The songs are described as "A cool alternative to yesterday's kids" Bible songs." The animal theme comes up in different ways in most of the songs, from monkeys through goats to penguins and more besides. The songs cover a variety of themes - my favourite was "GIGO" ("Garbage In -Garbage Out") which roughly translated means that we need to be careful what we allow into our lives, because it influences what comes out! Musically the songs are pop in style with some very catchy tunes that are easy to learn without being too predictable. I found this to be one of the few tapes of American origin that I could stomach, although you have to be prepared to make a few animal noises as you sing along with it. My main problem with it was the length - it's only about 13 minutes a side, which makes it poor value if it's a full price tape.
