This album is currently getting a big push in the USA and it's great to see the Canadian worship leader and songwriter finally getting the recognition that his huge talent deserves. It opens with "It's Time For The Reign Of God" with its foot-tapping beat which draws you to renewed hope and vision. Next comes a new version of Doerksen's much-loved "Come, Now Is The Time To Worship", an upbeat call of encouragement to follow the Lord, done with a great arrangement. There is the simplicity of "Holy God", an easy listening song of worship and heartfelt declaration of the holiness of our God making way for "The River" with "Everything To God In Prayer" weaving through this new song. Other tracks "Hope Of The Nations" and a re-recording of another of his classics, "More Than Oxygen" remind us of our dependence on God and deepens the yearning that the whole world might know him too. The new and reflective "Broken And Beautiful" is slipped in halfway through the CD. This is an especially good CD to introduce you to the powerfully anointed worship songs of Brian Doerksen.
