25 year old Caleb Rowden works as the worship and creative arts director at Christian Chapel in Columbia in the Midwestern American state of Missouri. Occasionally the church kindly gives him time out for good behaviour in order to tour the Bible Belt and beyond with his own particular brand of contemporary worship music as exemplified by this his debut album. Cast very much in the skater boy mould of Oasis and accompanied by a band that is bravely up for the task, Caleb ploughs his way through ten home grown rock and roll songs that speak of his love for God and a deep passion for souls. The standout track of the album has to be "Send Me" - which speaks of the willingness of God's servant to always be ready for the call. Inspired by words from Isaiah Chapter 6, the song certainly has a catchy hook that draws the listener to consider God's plan for his life. It typifies the considerable quality of the songs on the album, both in terms of lyrics and musical style. Not surprisingly, the song has lent its name to the tour, which is currently taking Caleb across the States. With a production team whose members have previously worked with Steven Curtis Chapman and REM, it comes as no surprise that this album oozes quality from start to finish.
