Working as she does in radio promotions with a CCM label, Tennessee's Chandler knows only too well that competence in terms of songwriting, performance and production isn't enough to get noticed in the crowded CCM field, particularly if you're one of the countless hundreds of independent artists. So it's pleasing to note that Chandler's second release is definitely more than competent and the song "Rising Setting" is a bubbly pop dance worship number as good as most things the labels are releasing. Other songs here have their moments as well. "Fight Your Fear" is clearly inspired by Chandler overcoming her fear of Christian music failure while "Victory" is the kind of worship anthem that would be effective in congregational settings. Having delivered this promising EP, the future looks considerably brighter for this talented singer/songwriter.
