Worship singer/songwriter Chris Roe demonstrates what a versatile chap he is with this five-track CD reissue. Beginning with the free for all pulsating rock 'n' blues title cut, this is a modern cry for more of God's Spirit. 'Filthy Rags' has previously appeared on a raw 'n' ready live album from Dave Markee and here it is boogying along in a slightly politer form. Love Chris' harmonica solo! Nice touch! 'With Just One Glance' is a dreamy love song to God that floats blissfully along. Just beautiful. 'Holy' is probably the most ordinary song here, a straight forward worship number given a slightly dramatic production. The closing 'Four Words' is a touch bluesy with a cry for the Spirit to move. Overall, this is a simple, straight forward, workmanlike demonstration that Chris Roe has talent in the singer/songwriting department.
