Idaho-based worship leader Christie Lynn and British songwriters Ray Goudie and Ian Townend have between them delivered a well above average pop worship project. With so many rock guitars evident on the torrent of modern worship releases, it's refreshing to hear an album dominated by keys and pop production values. Christie recently completed her first year at the Bethel School Of Supernatural Ministry and from the first track, "Father Child Reunion", the project draws the listener into a fresh and at time exhilarating pop experience seldom heard in today's modern worship music. The presence infused lyrics encourage all those listening to enter into worship while the cover of Jenn Johnson's "Chasing You" would be a perfect addition to any work-out playlist. The title track is joyfully exuberant while my personal favourite is "It Is Done", which closes out the album with hymnal style purity. Definitely a worship album to investigate.
