Cindy was, of course, once a member of the Southern gospel and pop team Cruse but in recent years has been the worship leader at Lakewood, the mega church presided over by the controversial Pastor Joel Osteen. 'Heaven Raining Down' kicks off with the bouncy title track followed by the emphatically drum-punctuated "God Alone" ("On Christ the solid rock I stand/All other ground is sinking sand"). "Holy Holy" features light percussion and keys while the oldie "I Have Decided To Follow Jesus" is woven into "With Me". "We Sing Hallelujah" is a reflective piece that glorifies God, despite some breathing sounds that might have been mixed out, before "God Of The Miracle" opens with more bass drum accompanying keys and synth - "What's dead come to life. . ./And come make miracles out of brokenness." Although this live set has plenty of atmosphere not all the songs are of the strongest quality and it certainly isn't up there with the best of the new wave of female worship leaders.
