Our introduction to this Coleraine, Northern Ireland-based singer actually came late in 2010 in the form of the excellent download single 'Lend Me Your Heart'. Claire is a worship leader at CFC Belfast, has played with Eoghan Heaslip's worship team and is a member of the Rend Collective Experiment. 'Introducing...' was produced by RCE's Gareth Gilkeson and offers six songs, including three originally released as part of the 'Lend Me Your Heat' package. Opener "In View Of Your Mercy" is big, bright and worshipful while Claire's expressive voice is impressive especially on tracks like "My Refuge" and the atmospheric "Breathe On Me Breath Of God". "Come Satisfy" is the closet track here to the pastoral pop style of the Rend Collective Experiment, opening with delicate acoustic guitar before building into an uplifting full band crescendo. 'Introducing. . .' is a vibrant and varied EP well worth checking out.

Product Description

From Northern Ireland comes another worship leader and songwriter with a real talent for refreshing our view of worship.

As well as being a member of Rend Collective Experiment, Claire Hamilton has opened for Brenton Brown and Chris McClarney and been a member of Eoghan Heaslip’s worship team at New Wine. She is one of the worship leaders at CFC Belfast a church with a great history of nurturing leaders like Robin Mark, Johnny Parks, Brian Houston and others.

Claire has led worship at Global Day of Prayer and New Wine Ireland, and her debut release (produced by Rend Collective’s Gareth Gilkeson) is full of organic, heart-felt, unhindered worship that charms, stretches and inspires. Breathe on me, breath of God she sings is one of the most simple, yet powerful songs around today.
