Anything further from the female "All Kinds Of Everything" Dana would be hard to imagine. This male, soulful Dana hails from Washington, DC and this four track EP introduces us to a fine voice and some smooth soul. The title cut is a full band production, catchy tune and plenty to say. "Is It Really You" slows things down as Dana's voice twists and turns over a mellow groove. "There Is Hope" strips everything down to almost just voice and solo piano and it's a testimony to the strength and beauty of Dana's vocal talents that he holds his own here. The final cut "Grace Interlude" is once more piano and voice and a simple 30 second coda to the EP. Although this is recorded on a budget, something of Dana's talent shines out and makes me want to hear more.
