The alternative title given for this album is 'Walking With Jesus' - says Key: "I've dreamed of an album about the life of Christ for many years, 'The Journey' is the fulfilment of that dream." Dana Key is best known for his work with Eddie DeGarmo and this production proves that he can do it away from his partner, not that we have heard the last from DeGarmo & Key. Musically, The Journey' varies from blues, enhanced by Keys' guitar licks , through some Michael W Smith style Pop/Rock to beautiful ballads. Dana takes us 'Walking With Jesus' from "We Need A Saviour", a call from the people for their Messiah to come, and a very revamped version of Larry Norman's "The Outlaw". Then the Temptation: "Bow Down", the woman at the well, Peter's denial, "The Death", an emotive, spoken track, and the triumphant "Up From The Dead (The World Has A Saviour)". Climaxing with a beautiful song affirming that Christians know that we will all meet again, either "Here, There Or In The Air". A concept album to be played again and again.

I have been a fan of D&K since about 1979, I still listen to them today. The best christian rock band, with the great message of Christ. The words were plane and to the point. No guess work to what they were saying.
