This 12 inch release contains three mixes-a radio mix, the mix you get on the Deliverance album and a mega Extended mix at over 10 minutes! Thankfully the track can take such treatment. These boys are the younger generation, ready to take on the mantle of The Winans et al. This track is seriously funky, both contemporary with a hard rap in the extended version and all the tricks of the dance-mixers art, but also harking back to greats of black music like funkadelic and even Stevie Wonder in the groove. (It suddenly goes into double-time half way through, sounding like a 1990's mix of the backing track to "Superstition") Travail are to be commended for releasing 12 inch gospel singles - tracks from Keith Dobbins and Ben Tankard are to follow. If you have difficulty with your local record store, phone Travail direct on 081 461 1618.
