These guys like a joke, understanding that the serious unbanality of repent-or-die thrash can be invariably dark with some lighter moments. So in between the angry, snarling denouncements of a society chewing on its own vomit ("I'm so tired of all this guile/Homos saying they're not perverted") and the off-the-rails-church ("The preacher speaks his idiocy/In the name of prophecy" or "It's the beat/They say is Satanic, ha ha ha/It's the beat/That causes the flesh to give in/It's the beat/You ignorant fool. Study the first eight chapters of Romans") there is plenty of humour. Try the jokey intro to the album and a wonderful "Purgatory Sandwich With Mustard". Mosh heads out there, check Deliverance out.
