Now this album I like! In fact, the same goes for this band. 'Answered...?' is not flawless, however it is packed with raw potential. It was recorded on 4-track, and this impressed me as I've heard recordings done on 8 and 16 which lacked the qualities of this one. There are some loose areas, but I feel that some time in a decent studio with a good producer would bring out the best in this band - no offence Matthew! The vocals are great and even the unpolished production hasn't deterred me from playing this tape over and over. I would advise readers to get in touch with Deliverance Ablaze and find out where they can see them live. There is talent there that needs to be tapped and then this band will sprout wings. I feel like Jonathan King discovering Genesis, but fortunately I don't have his dress sense! I wish Deliverance Ablaze every success for the future and look forward to hearing them on CD.
