Deluge, the worship band of Bethany World Prayer Centre in Baton Rouge, Louisiana have released their second album which was recorded live at their annual youth conference before some 5000 worshippers. Don't be fooled by the fact it is only their second album because this is pure quality, well produced, great lyrics and very fine musicianship behind the smooth yet strong voice of Jonathon Stockstill. The album is sure to have wide appeal irrespective of age, with varied tracks that can take you to either a place of exuberant praise or intimate worship. A great 50 second opening track "Prelude" which is very reminiscent of Mutemath bursts from the speakers and runs seamlessly into the hard hitting riffs of "Unshakable" a very deserving title track to get you into high energy mode. "Deeper" and "Power" both keep the momentum rolling into "Jesus Lamb Of God" which starts the move into a lighter phase before slowing into a more reflective "Refuge" and "Sing Of The Blood". Six more tracks follow moving the tempo and energy levels up and down giving something for all emotional levels. "Lets Worship" features the vocals of rising CCM star Kari Jobe in a truly spine-tingling duet that encourages a special God moment at any time. "I Want To Be Used By You" closes the album with a one on one with God, offering him your service, the perfect way to finish.
