I'm intrigued by this CD. What it seems to be is a couple and their friends putting together some music they fancy playing with some in-your-face religious lyrics, and thoroughly enjoying themselves in the process. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. There are some great moments. "Playin' Church" ("it's not good enough to play church") and "Out Of The Boat" ("get out of the boat, walk on water") will have me pondering for awhile. The music is accomplished - we get rock, funk and ballads. The production is a bit flat, a shame because this is a good album and I've enjoyed listening to it.
