Elevation Church is based at Charlotte, North Carolina, and this generous offering (73 minutes of music) represents a live record of worship in church from February 2011, led by their worship team. With a solid, guitar-led band sound most of the way through nicely punctuated by changes in lead voice, volume and tempo this is a solid set with good flow and plenty of opportunities to dwell on the lyrics. The songs themselves are straightforward, accessible, musically hooky and all of them are fairly strong. Add in some excellent lead vocals and crisp production values with the occasional sounds of the congregation (singing/applause) to reinforce the 'live' feel and you have an excellent album of the live modern worship type.

Product Description

People are naturally drawn to a movement. There’s a freshness, uniqueness and an extraordinary element that one can’t help but notice.

Elevation Church, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, humbly began with 16 people and one massive vision to reach out to people far from God.

In just five years, Elevation Church is considered the fastest-growing church in America with more than 10,000 in weekly attendance with Pastor and original worship leaer Steve Furtick quickly becoming one of the most influential leaders, speakers and authors in the USA.

The Elevation worship team, led by Worship Pastors Wade Joye, Matt Brock, Chris Brown and London Gatch eventually began to write and record songs that reflected their congregation’s journey, experiences and needs.

For The Honor features all new songs. As with recent movements such as Hillsong, Passion and Jesus Culture, when worship music is dynamic, authentic and holds nothing back, God blesses it and lives are changed.

Elevation Worship seeks to connect with other worship leaders and churches to unite resources, gifts and ideas to better serve God and the Church through worship.
