I love this album! Éowyn (yes, that's her real name) is a hard-rocking Tennessee girl who isn't afraid to stand out from the crowd. 'Identity' secures Éowyn's place in the CCM market with a unique sound borrowing from a range contemporary and classic rock oeuvres reflecting a pride in her 'independent' label. Despite this rebellion against commercial sounding music, the album is not lacking in catchy lines and anthemic songs perfect for radio. The title track stands out in particular, with a compellingly singable tune and a powerful message about being true to yourself. The current single "Locked Away" is dark and heavy, offset by ethereal vocals which would be as well suited to praise and worship as hard-rock. You really have to hear it to believe it! My only criticism of this album is that it is crying out for some guitar solos, of which we are frustratingly deprived. Overall though, this album is a must-have. It could even be viewed as a pivotal release for the CCM industry, being able to meet any rock fan wherever they are and point them directly towards Jesus Christ without sounding 'churchy' or 'preachy'.

I've had "Identity" in my CD player for a month and a half. Its so awesome
that I can hardly listen to any other music. I think I may be addicted--I hope even a third CD comes out soon.

Eowyn's music is raw and honest and full of God-angst and God's love in a way no one else's is.

Eowyn Rocks! I love my "dragon-slaying" girl!

I have this CD and think it''s great...2 of the songs (Draw Me and Escape) could be hits on secular radio right now...
