Originating from New Zealand, Evan Silva is a proud Kiwi singer, songwriter and musician whose music has travelled broadly throughout Australasia and earnt him a string of accolades along the way and his music has a definite blue-eyed soul flavour. To date, he has recorded 11 albums and his most recent, 'Sundays Only', is a collection of meditational worship offerings. Accompanying himself on the piano for each song, the album has a very easy continuous flow from beginning to end creating some very easy listening. "Engage My Heart" is probably the most energetic of all the tracks as Silva begins with great vocal gusto before falling into a more tranquil flow by the chorus. "Aroha" also stands out as he sings about his love for God in both Māori and English. Altogether, 'Sundays Only' is a very pleasant album.
