Ascent (featured in CR4) were one of the best British bands never to have made a tape (not even a privately recorded one) so now that they have metamorphosed with the addition of violinist Alyson Evans into Eve And The Garden they've wasted no time in getting down to the home of Christian roots music, ffg studios, and recorded two songs with producer/engineer Dave Pick. Both are haunting, meditative, moody pieces - "Summon The Dawn", featuring Alison Eve's eerily poignant lead vocal, while "Every Bush Is Burning" has some intricate play between instruments. Very nice and we look forward to a whole album.
