This is an interesting record for more than one reason. It is Farley who can claim to have taken house music from the clubs of Chicago to the radios and televisions of Britain with his anthem "Love Can't Turn Around". Then...absolutely nothing. Until now. This tune appears on the Kilburn-based independent label, the song available in four mixes, two British and two Chicago, all of which are in the deep and minimal style which sounds great both on the radio and in the club. The lyrics are short and to the point. "Everybody needs a friend, pray for me why don't you" is as deep as the lyrics go. For a first effort after being out of music for so long this is an excellent return to the scene.
