You'd be excused for thinking that Finchley is a band heralding from north London. Instead it is former Supervision co-singer/songwriter and guitarist Ian Finch with his debut album after going solo in the summer of 2006. Beautifully crafted and co-produced with Chris Taylor with the help of some of Liverpool's finest musicians, 'No Clouds' is a new horizon for Finch in leaving behind an impressive 10 year stint with Supervision. Embracing a theme of moving on in melodic, sometimes anthemic songs with a rich resonance reflecting the life changes that we all go through, Finchley hits the Son spots in outstanding fashion balancing giving glory to God lyrically whilst reflecting on his personal journey. With so many standout tracks, it is difficult to select a chosen few, but for me "In The Wind", "Contraflow" and "Struggle On" inspired me to move on my own journey.

This album is definitely worth a listen. It has alot of great songs, which have been played beautifully. Finchley's vocal works really well; there is depth and passion, and 'stuggle on' is a precious moment. Don't miss it.
