Foot down, open road, ‘Overview’ belting out of the speakers; life, compliments to the creator. Flood AD are a California based drums ‘n’ guitar three piece led by singer/songwriter Rob Apger who seems to have made his mission in life to get the masses grinning like idiots. The album contains seven tracks (five of which were recorded live), all of which do that foot tapping thing to my brain. Music is about moods and this album put me in a good one. ‘Overview’ hides a secret beneath its melodies, the lyrics! To read the inside of the cover is to understand the passion behind three men and their belief. When you know what they are singing, rhythms fit the pride; when you clear your mind the band become a four piece. I really do like this mini-album.
