Having encountered the title track on Dream Records' 'Dream Christmas Vol 3' sampler I have to say that I wasn't looking forward to sitting through this album. Kenya-based Canadian Garry is an old-school crooner whose voice would be perfectly adequate singing standards in a small nightclub but has little to differentiate it from a thousand similar voices while the arrangements here are musically predictable. So Elvis' "Blue Christmas", Bing's "White Christmas" and most bizarrely of all "Happy Christmas (War Is Over) are interspersed with "Silent Night" and "Joy To The World" all sung and played with little discernible enthusiasm. Dream Records obviously feel that there is a market for easy listening mush though why a Christmas music company should involve themselves in such activities is to me at least a mystery.
