Despite the inevitable "Wrestling with Gremlins" that must occur in recording live worship - let alone open air live worship - this first release of the Greenbelt Sunday morning worship service is a success. If nothing else, it goes a long way to answering those critics who appear to think that the Christian content at Greenbelt has all but disappeared. All the singing is included, so there's the delightful contrast of the traditional - "Crown Him With Many Crowns"; the modern - Ben Okafor's "We Are One"; the orthodox - a Kyrie from the Russian church; and the breathtaking -"Siya Namba (We Are Marching In The Light Of God)", a Kenyan folk-tune. All music is under the direction of Gladstone Wilson. Although the sermon and liturgy are missed out, the prayers and the dramatised reading are included. "Wrestling With Angels' is more than just a collection of songs, it is a complete act of worship.
