Cross Rhythms has already reviewed Australian worship leader Attwells' 2012 album 'Indie Hymnal'. This was released a year earlier and demonstrates a very calming, reflective approach to worship. Clearly Greg feels at home with a guitar and stool as he strips everything back to basic instrumentation. This album is not going to jump out of the speakers at you but then that's not the intention. From the opening words of "Your Love" we are taken to a place of contemplation of who God is and what he has done. There is definitely a chill out intimate feel to the whole proceedings and while it's hard to pinpoint a standout title there's a consistency which lends itself beautifully for quiet times or the occasion when you need something to relax with. If you fancy some background music for a small group or you happen to have a coffee shop ministry in your church this will fit the bill.
