Two videos from American hip-hop duo Grits. One thing you can say about these guys is that they produce material which is creative and eye catching. These videos are amazing for different reasons. For "Here We Go", director Elliott Lester creates scenes packed with some wonderfully weird looking characters. There is plenty of humour as fat ladies dance, a little girl plays the tambourine and a room packed full of people race turtles and eat boiled eggs as Bonafide and Coffee bob their heads and perform the song. For completely different reasons, "They All Fall Down" is visually stunning too. The men from Grits play angels of death at a party of beautiful, successful people, touching different party goers who in response die and are taken away to another place. It's haunting and clever and like "Here We Go" strong enough to enjoy high rotation on MTV or VH1 or any other mainstream music television network. As an added bonus you get the guys' commentary on making the videos and it's hysterical as they explain the clips and tell some of the stories behind the shoot.
