This learn have been together for about 18 months, have played plenty of gigs largely down the South Coast and now deliver their debut CD, engineered and co-produced by Carl Freeman (Heartbeat, Speakeasy). Their sound is an interesting mix of Britpop, ambient and alternative rock and the lyrics are in-your-face gospel. The great strength is an excellent vocalist whose husky exhortations sometimes sound uncannily like Split Level's Adrian Thompson. The weakness is that some of the songs simply lack the spark of true originality while the obviously limited budget means there are few surprises in the production. Overall though, a well above average band of grassroots gospel communicators who clearly mean business with God.
