"I will sow in the spirit and I will reap what is good." Most noted for his musical interpretations of the Psalms, Ian White's spirit filled 'Faith Story' is already a Christian bookstore success. This album has a definite acoustic sound and contains songs that can easily be picked up; I particularly liked the simple advice in "You've Got To Keep On Keeping On". Good production and an impressive team of performers including Chris Eaton and the solid bass lines of Neville L'Green (highly commended) help these songs come to life. A gentle but positive album. I was particularly encouraged to see Ian using songs written by other songwriters; Andy Cowan and Janet McBride. The parting shot on the sleeve note should keep those armchair philosophers amongst you musing for hours: "He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose."
