For all those frustrated Christians out there who, like me, find it impossible to remember any significant amount of the book of Psalms then 'Psalms Volume Five' (and indeed volume six which should be out in November) is for you. After listening through you will astonish yourself with your new found talent which will mean that you cannot only recall chunks of the Psalms but sing them also! Ian White, who of course has now achieved near legendary status as a worship leader in his native Scotland, continues successfully through this recording to put Scripture to music. This album continues very much from where the previous four recordings leave off characterized by the blend of White's incisive worship leader - style voice and crisp acoustic guitar sound with a bright choral backdrop. I anything, 'Psalms Volume Five' is further musically developed than its predecessors. A range of different musical styled are incorporated. "Psalm 92" hints at reggae whilst "Psalm 94" has a Latin feel. A personal quibble is that due to concentration on Psalms ninety to one-hundred there is no heartrending Lament Psalm present. However White (aided by Canadian rocker Johnny Markin) makes up for this through the jubilant "Psalm 99". Perhaps the reason why the 'Psalms' recordings are so effective lies in their ability to bring the listener closer to the original spirit of the Psalmists. Order this album now and begin to catch up on what you've been missing

Hi. I was given tapes of Ian White singing the Psalms when I was seriously ill in hospital over 20 years ago. At first they were played for me over and over by precious friends because I was in and out of consciousness for several weeks. Over the next few years I played them until they'd worn so badly it became impossible to listen to them.
Through that crisis - which changed every area of my life - they helped me to stay connected to God, leading me into a strong relationship with my Gracious and merciful Father.
I'm now in a crisis and often think of those songs and try to remember them. Will they be brought out again on CD or for downloading onto computers? If not, how can I get copies of them?
Thanks for the blessing they have been and I hope someone is able to respond.
God bless you, Nadene
