These guys have recorded and mixed 10 of their own songs, partly at family homes of the musical wiz of the band, Kevin Wu. There's a home made but well produced feel which should be getting a good response when played live - Flevo is amongst their bookings. The album title comes from the track "One Hit Wonder". Each song clearly exhibits their faith, without being repetitive or cheesy. There's a hint of Jars Of Clay influence in "Oceans Blue", musically and vocally. Intros are particularly varied, use is made of a DJ and Kevin makes sleevenote reference to Van Halen guitar licks. Altogether, a welcome addition to CCM.
