Jude are a three-piece from Chelmsford who've been together a year and are fronted by singer/songwriter Judy Joslin. She has an OK voice but the band arrangements are, not surprisingly, skeletal and one longs for more rhythmic texture than these rudimentary recordings offer. Also, the lyrics manage to veer uncomfortably into banality while being neither explicitly Christian nor explicitly secular. A demo quality effort which doesn't really compete with the numerous fine independent projects out there. Sorry guys.
